feeling a lot better today but still can't wear my contacts so i'm walking around like a blind bat with my glasses on which are a few prescriptions behind haha.
our flight from Madrid was uneventful then we headed to our hotel on Las Ramblas.
It's one of the nicer ones we've been at with a full size shower!!!
As soon as we got in, we had some Burger King (i know....but we´re getting sick of deciphering menus) and then headed to the Picasso Museum which we both loved.
Dad - see if you can find me some prints of "the Pichones" they were my fave.
now we're headed back to las ramblas to drop off some stuff and then we're gonna go watch the futbol game at an irish pub haha.
auntie jane - i emailed you the flight info with my NEU email, for some reason AOL isn't working on this computer. so i hope you got it.
the weather is beautiful here, and we're near the beach. tomorrow we're checking out Gaudi's stuff.....la sagrada familia, la pedrera, park guell so hopefully it will be nice again.
can't wait to show you all the photos!

Glad that you are feeling better....Thanks, I got the flight info, so will talk to you at some point. I printed up directions, so stay by the phone!!!!! It won't be long, but you have enough to keep you busy in the meantime.....save the flight for some zzzzzz's.
I am so glad you got to the Picasso museum - my all time favorite one - is pichones the paintings with the birds - i loved that series and have never seen them anywhere else.....I do hope the weather is good for the park - great tilework....there is a great chocolate shop on Las Ramblas - heading toward La Famiglia on the left! Savor every minute and I will see you both on hte rebound!
